Trintex Plastics was founded and registered in 1987 by Gerhard Heindl, who has a Mechanical Engineering background and immigrated to South Africa in 1975 from Austria.
The company was established with the objective of supplying plastic packaging solutions equal to European standards in the local market place. The company manufactures, outsources and distributes a range of products for the cosmetic, automotive, hospitality and pharmaceutical industries.
The breakthrough came when a French cosmetic company approached Trintex Plastics, looking for a variety of plastic containers to pack their products in. Since then Trintex Plastics has expanded its product range focusing on injection moulding, blow moulding, injection- stretch blow moulding and injection blow moulding products. The company has been successfully operating in the industry for over 25 years and focuses primarily on providing high quality products, short lead-times and outstanding service to a variety of cosmetics, chemical and pharmaceutical companies in the market place. Trintex Plastics also caters for smaller customers, providing them with advice and quantities that meet their requirements.
Trintex Plastics has been honoured by pharmaceutical and cosmetics companies with “supplier of the year” awards and prides itself in having strong relationships with all its customers.
The company is still family owned and run so whatever the project, the customer deals directly with the owner therefore cutting out all the red tape and ensuring that the customer’s needs are always first priority.
